Cinco de Mayo Celebration May 3

On May 3rd, Shadowglen came alive with the vibrant colors and festive spirit of our Cinco de Mayo celebration. This event was a smashing success, drawing in a bustling crowd of enthusiastic residents ready to embrace the joyous occasion. The atmosphere was lively and joyous, with music, laughter, and lively conversation. It was heartwarming to see our community come together and share in the festivities, creating lasting memories and strengthening our bonds.

The festivities began with a lively game of Loteria, the traditional Mexican bingo. The excitement was palpable as participants eagerly marked their cards, hoping to shout "¡Lotería!" and claim their prizes. The game brought a sense of camaraderie and friendly competition that set the tone for the rest of the event.

No Cinco de Mayo celebration would be complete without mouth-watering Mexican cuisine. Residents enjoyed a delightful spread of nachos and tacos, complete with a variety of toppings and salsas. The flavors were a hit, and the food stations were busy throughout the event. To satisfy our sweet tooth, we had an array of Mexican candies and breads.

Adding a touch of fun and festivity, we handed out mini sombreros to attendees. These adorable hats were a big hit and made for great photo opportunities against the festive photo booth area. It was wonderful to see everyone getting into the spirit and embracing the theme. One of the standout features of the event was our margarita machine, serving up refreshing margaritas throughout the day. Adults appreciated the cool, tangy drinks as they mingled and enjoyed the celebration and the kids enjoyed strawberry slushies.

The event was well-attended, with residents of all ages coming together to celebrate. Thank you to everyone who attended and made our Cinco de Mayo celebration such a fantastic event. We look forward to many more joyful gatherings in the future!
